The Board of Belmont Fresh Water Supply District No. 1 recently completed a traffic study for the area around Argyle West Elementary School. We reviewed the findings with the school administration and are now preparing to move forward with some changes to traffic flow in the area. The changes include:
A two-way left turn lane will be added at the north entrance to the campus.
New crosswalks will be added on Treeline and Sunflower.
No northbound traffic will be permitted during school pickup hours (2:30-3:30 p.m.) on Treeline between Old Justin Road.
The image below shows the changes, which will be implemented over the next few weeks. Please use caution in the area. There may be minor disruptions in traffic as drivers adjust to the changes.
