• Public Hearing Notice: The Board set the date for the formal public tax hearing and authorized publishing the required statutory notice to residents. The public hearing will be held on September 14, 2026.

• Supervisor Governance: The Board passed a resolution establishing supervisor fees of office and updated reimbursement policies in accordance with Section 49.060 of the Texas Water Code.

Communications Consultant Report

Triton Consulting Group presented the monthly Communications Report:

• Digital Outreach & Inquiries: Reviewed website performance metrics, resident tracker tickets, and recent email updates.

• Street Signage: Updates on the Lance Thompson Elementary signage contract were provided.

Public Safety & Police Cost Allocation Analysis

• Cost Allocation Study: The Board reviewed a memorandum from NewGen Strategies & Solutions evaluating police service cost allocations. The study outlined long-term projections for police operating costs and facility expansions, comparing the current flat per-household rate against potential future options based on household counts or total taxable property value.
