Consent Agenda: The Board reviewed and approved items included in the consent agenda. This included the tax collection report, police and animal control reports, and minutes of the December and January Board meetings.
Bookkeepers Report: The district bookkeeper reviewed the Bookkeeper’s report with the Board, who approved the report.
Special Action Items: The Board reviewed and adopted multiple resolutions that are reviewed annually. These include a discussion of tax exemptions, penalties for delinquent taxes, and wage rate scales. There were no changes for this year.
Communications Report and Community Engagement: The Board received updates on the District’s website, subscriber numbers for alerts and Facebook, and active/closed “Report a Problem” tickets. The communication team is also working with the Harvest HOA to create a quick reference guide for residents.
Construction and Engineering Updates: The Board reviewed updates provided by the district engineer on various district construction and maintenance projects including streetlight replacements and channel repairs in Phase 15. The Board also approved the installation of crosswalks at Old Justin Road and Cleveland Gibbs Parkway.
4th Street Parking Discussion: The Board then considered a request for installation of additional parking on 4th Street. After discussion, the Board tabled the matter to further discuss with the Harvest HOA and other applicable parties. The Board will continue to discuss parking options for the area over the coming months.
