Key Topics Discussed:

● Consent Agenda: The Board reviewed and approved regular business items, including the meeting minutes for October 2025, the District developer’s report, tax collection report, as well as the police & animal control reports.

●  Financial and Administrative Matters: The Board discussed the bookkeeper's report, which included discussions regarding invoices, bonds, and other related matters. The board then heard a presentation from a North Texas bookkeeping company, Dye & Tovery.

The Board concluded to engage Dye & Tovery for accounting services. A representative and the district Treasurer will work together to prepare an engagement letter for the Board's signature.

● District Communications and Events: The Board reviewed communication efforts and event outcomes. The Shred Event had 65 participants utilize the shredding services and allowed Board members to engage with District residents. The Harvest Market was also well-attended throughout the Fall and increased resident engagement and District awareness. Belmont FWSD 1 & 2 plan to continue to engage with residents at community events and share how Belmont helps improve and maintain the community.

The Board also discussed the best practices for residents to contact Directors. It was decided that the form on the website was the best contact method, and that residents with questions can contact board members https://belmontfwsd1.com/contacthere.

● Engineers Report: The Board discussed the engineering report, addressing repair and maintenance issues throughout the District. Pay applications and change orders were also discussed and approved by the Board as appropriate.

The next meeting of Belmont FWSD No. 1 will be on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
